RESERVE OF OFFICERS AND RESERVE COME ANY ·
ficer Commanding
-
Lieutenant D. L. Strellett.

This Company is still divided into two parts. Section "A" being men under forty years of age, and Section "B" those who are over forty.
With regard to the former, it is still considered they should be re-attached to their units except for good reasons shown, and in the proposed re-organization, steps in this direction will be taken. With regard to Section "B", there is a distinct desire amongst a number of the older men, to be of some definite service, and, apart from the question of musketry which has always found a number of interested men and N.C.0's, there is ground of believing that when a definite sphere of usefulness has been indicated, the response will be good, and there is even a prospect of many recruits in the same category being forthcoming.
The Company is now being organized on the following lines: Proposed Re-Organization.
At present, the individual role of a member of the Reserve Company on mobilization is indefinite and with the view to each member being assured of his "War-Task", it is pro posed to reform the Reserve Company on the following lines.
(1) (a) Reserve
Section A.
To consist of Reserve Sections in each Company
composed of ex-members of the Company.
Members of Section 'A' will wear the uniform of their
parent company and retain their full identity with the
Company.
The 0.C. Company will administer his own Reserve
Section and will allot each member a definite 'War-Task'
within the Company's role.
Members of this Section will normally retain the rank they held on transfer.
